This certificate is only awarded to watches that can guarantee perfect isochronism at a given time and in given positions: in effect, their ability to indicate the time correctly, consistently and precisely, within the strict limits imposed by an ISO standard. The COSC is an independent Swiss organization that issues its chronometer certificates only after watches have been subjected to extensive tests over several days. COSC-certified pieces constitute an elite, a class of their own, intended for collectors for whom “Swiss precision” is a daily necessity. The Highlife Automatic COSC was developed especially for them.
