This is a new addition to the success of the diving models, a reproduction of the Seiko H558-5009 diving watch from the 1980s, which was the first diving watch with a combined dial (analog and digital), equipped with an alarm and a stopwatch.
Reminiscent of the Seiko H558 series, the Seiko SNJ025P1, also nicknamed Arnie, is one of the diving watches that has become an iconic model within the brand, mainly due to its association with Arnold Schwarzenegger, as well as its features, its proven case shape and, last but not least, its superb workmanship.
The Seiko SNJ025P1 is powered by a solar-powered H851 movement, which features an alarm, dual time, stopwatch and automatic calendar functions. The model features an unusual (but typical for Seiko) design. A protective crown made of hardened plastic, called a shroud, is mounted on the round steel case, protecting the black rotating bezel (with a scale for easy measurement of dive time) and the body of the watch itself. Its design allows for flawless operation of the bezel. In addition, the watch also has a screw-down crown and a dent. The case is appropriately complemented by a black silicone strap. The clear and easy-to-read combination dial is protected by a Hardlex (hardened mineral) glass. Excellent luminescence and LED lighting ensure better readability in low-light conditions. With a case size of 47.8 mm, the watch has a water resistance of 200 m.
