Bulova made the history of space on August 2, 1971 - During the Apollo 15 mission, the Lunar Pilot (Moon) chronograph, personalized for the lunar conditions from the bulova engineers, was worn on the moon. Bulova today makes history with the special edition Lunar Pilot Chronograph, the replica model of the updated original thanks to the exclusive movement, Bulova patent, high-performance quartz with a frequency of 262 kHz for unprecedented accuracy. Features include hands and steel indexes with a central super-light housed on a black dial, anti-reflective sapphire crystal, speedometer and calendar all housed in a solid 316L surgical stainless steel case. Two interchangeable straps are included: one in textured black leather; The other, a black nylon with a nubuck leather patch that commemorates the date of the mission (DOM) as 08021971.
