Description
The finely textured dial of this new SPB333J1 creation captures the power of the earth-shaping polar glaciers and the seascapes of the Arctic and Antarctic. The case pays homage to the 1968 Seiko 6105-8000 diver's watch, whose curved silhouette and crown at four o'clock have inspired the design of many iconic dive watches. The watch is presented on a five-row stainless steel bracelet with a secure clasp and folding buckle and is accompanied by an additional polyester strap, made entirely from recycled plastic bottles. Caliber 6R35, a proven automatic movement beating at 21,600 vph, offers a 70-hour power reserve. The stainless steel case and bracelet are equipped with an ultra-hard coating. Anti-reflective coating on the inside surface of the sapphire crystal ensures excellent readability from any angle. The twelve indexes and hands are coated with Lumibrite for optimum readability in the dark.
