Seiko introduces a new interpretation of the 1968 underwater clock in the Prospex collection, even better equipped to face the challenge of the most extreme conditions on land.

The case, the bezel and the crown are all in Ever-Brilliant steel of Seiko.

To ensure the duration of the clock, the crown is locked in a separate component integrated into the case.

The watch is powered by the 8L35 caliber, developed specifically for diving and hand-assembled watches by the artisans of Shizukuishi Watch Studio in northern Japan.

The robustness and precision of the movement ensure the highest possible levels of performance in the most demanding environments, both ground and underwater.

Between 1966 and 1969, Seiko has provided various watches, including divers, japanese antarctic research expedition, which plays a crucial role in the scientific research of polar regions in Japan.
