The Presage SPB309J1 is powered by the caliber 6R38, a new caliber from the 6R movement family. It is specially designed to allow the wearer to admire the oscillation of the mechanism through the aperture located at 9 o’clock. It also offers a 70-hour power reserve. Like all watches in this collection, this dial features the Asanoha, or hemp leaf, pattern that has been used on Japanese textiles since the Heian period, over a thousand years ago. While the case retains the strength and angularity that give the collection its distinctive look, it features a new design with a mirror finish between the top and side surfaces that gives the watch a new shine. The elegance of this new design is further emphasized by the inward taper of the case.
