This watch is only available in select boutiques worldwide.
It is a reinterpretation of the 1965 KSK "King Seiko" series; highly sought-after precision mechanical watches with an elegant angular profile.
In the 1960s, King Seiko watches led the development of Seiko Watch Corporation in world-leading technical precision, along with Grand Seiko. "King Seiko" was born when multiple Seiko factories created different watches to encourage innovation, one of the constant goals of the Japanese watch brand.
This version is updated from its original inspiration with a newly designed thin case combined with sapphire crystal, for a case depth of 10.33 mm, the thinnest of the caliber 6R models.
It features a King Seiko crest on the crown and caseback and the bracelet takes inspiration from the original 1960s design through a combination of mirror and hairline finishes.
The delicately cut three-dimensional indexes are beautifully positioned on the fine and luminous dial, and the 12 o'clock marker is subtly finished with a drawing technique that involves only one surface engraving at a time.
