Caliber 403
Today, the Big Crown Pointer Date is taking centre stage with the most significant new iteration in its illustrious history. The updated 38 mm model is powered by Calibre 403, a high-performance automatic movement from Oris’s in-house Calibre 400 Series. Calibre 403, which first appeared in the 2021 Hölstein Edition of 250 pieces, is introduced to the Oris collection for the first time with two complications: a small seconds and a pointer date.
Like all movements in the Calibre 400 Series, the Calibre 403 has these features:
- high levels of antimagnetism
- five-day power reserve
- 10 year warranty
- accuracy is -3/+5 seconds per day – which would allow it to obtain chronometer certification
- recommended maintenance intervals of 10 years.
